As far as I can tell, she's aware that such a device can not remain erected whilst underway but one can never tell whether such is considered by her a mere technicality espoused by a nitty norah. Her experience on a certain aged auld grey tub may have led her to believe so and she doesn't fully comprehend the difference between an ocean greyhound and the aforementioned tub. But, I wonder if mah fine auld tub could benefit from modern technology.
