If SWMBO mislays her mobile, then I ring it so that she can track down the sound - Would this work with the H/H?

If Claymore had had 'auto answer' on the mobile that he lost down the bilge, then he could have spooked his guests by 'talking' through it.

His Lairdship has indeed been known to spook his guests by talking from strange places.

Does anyone still have a bookmark for the 'Lairdship' thread? It's a long time since I visited it - it must be due a continuation.

THE CLAYMORE LEGACY

I've kept a copy in case it ever vanishes. Perhaps it should be continued here . . . .

Of course, the great advantage of resurrecting the thread in the original place is that His Lordship never visits the place, so we can say what we like about him.

Must admit that the continuity would also be an advantage, as would the ability to read it all on one page.

The ageing Laird shuffled his morning papers looking for the dull side of the delsey - it has been some time since he wrote anything but his failing memory at least remembered that ye cannae write on the shiney side...
not entirely sure that he had written something rude there, he gathered his thoughts. That is to say, he attempted to gather his thoughts but sadly nowadays even one of the estates finest Collies would have a job rounding them up.
"Whaur is yon scoundrel Parahandy?" he roared and as if by magic in he minced in that rather effeminate Morningside sort of a fashion that he had cultivated.
"A dram man - ef ye please - an gae easy wi ra watter" The Laird had rumbled the ruse some time ago and noticed the Macallan looking decidedly anaemic as a result of the ancient retainers dilutionary tactics.

Bob I took mine to the TaT but it has a shoulder strap which makes it a bit easier to carry without dropping it,
and ash, it would be a waste of time calling it while it is turned off! which it obviousley was or we would have called it.
It is unfortunate that it got lost and more unfortunate that it hasent been found, or at least hasent been reported as found!
Someone suggested buying a floating one, not much use if it gets lost at night and is carried away on the tide by morning.

Nick's awa on his hols so the Fred Drift is gonna get worse!

Tomorrow is 1st of the month, and no Nick to give us a new calendar - how will we manage?

Ash ..... :troll:

Edit - I thought that we might have made use of an old one - but the leap year in 2004 buggered it up - and any way we didn't get a June in 2004 - maybe N was on his hols then too.

We'll just make do with this one

...............but it was taken from the deck of a boat .......and is idyllic because there aren't any other boats around!

Not sure why I'm defending the photo - it isn't mine.
