So_Sage and Shuggy noted their interest at one point IIRC.

I can see that lot rafted up at Scalasaig. It'll nearly reach the rocks.
Who takes precedence - Admiral of the Blue, the Green or the Fleet? Mind you with that number of boats, we need 3 admirals.

A most Admirable suggestion, dear Boy...

Have Parahandy stripped, washed and brought to my cabin

Alas no. Appologies offered to the assembled fleet.
We will be mobo-ing in Italy that week. (got a friend with a wallet full of diesel)
Also we will probably still be in shock from the Clyde scallywags scuttlebutt, and would be unable to fulfil our obligation vis-a-vis convivial absorbtion .

Can't join the whole cruise I've got 2 dogs that need t be considered, however I will be around and if I know where and when I may be able to meet you to share a dram etc. Is that possible?

We seem to be having some difficulty even deciding where to have a drink on the Thursday evening but doubtless a clearer picture will emerge as the event approaches.

Sorry - been accidentally ignoring this page. The good tub Tafna will be making an appearance on the Thursday if still invited; I need to be back in Ardfern on Saturday night so may only manage one day's sailing with the fleet.

Thanks - looks like we'll see you in the Frog on the Thursday PM? There will be 3 of us.

Spot on
We'll firm up on the details a bit nearer the time but with us on the Friday is better than not with us.
Its also much better than Parahandy being with us all the time.

Excellent

The pipes and low whistle have been buffed up and will be making an appearance. If only they could play themselves...

I've just spotted that I've got a dental appointment in Cumbernauld on the Thursday afternoon. Depending on tides (and, of course, weather), getting the boat round to Dunstaffnage for a wee swally in the Frog should still be possible, however. According to my online source, HW Oban for 30/4/09 is 2234 BST. Anyone disagree?

No, I'd like to agree. Presume we're both using wx tide.
Tho I think meeting in the Frog takes precedence over dental appointments

Well mine calls itself "mobilegeographics.com" but might well be the same really.

Getting to the Frog shouldn't be a problem, just checking whether or not there's time to bring the boat... :)

re. dentists: I don't know what it's like in your area, but in Scotland NHS dentists are like hen's teeth, and if you are lucky enough to have one, you really musn't piss him/her off!
