Hi All,I thought I would introduce myself here as I have been lurking for a while now and thoroughly enjoyed reading the posts and general craic.
My name is John Calder from Inversneckie and I am new to messing about on boats so I hope you will bear with me as I have lots of questions coming up.
I realise I have done this all the wrong way??As all I have is a competent crew course and then went and bought an old boat (seemed like a good idea at the time).
She is moored at Loch Dochfour (lovely spot) and is an old sunspeed 24 which I adore.(She is called Maia and I bought her in Barcaldine last year,so some of you may know her).
Anyway,I hope to be an active member of this group and with a bit of luck you will not get fed up with what will probably be fairly stupid questions, thanks in advance,Spud/John.
ps Spud is actually my dogs name, but I answer to it as well, what does that say???
pps Some time ago,one of your members (can,t remember who it was) reminisced about the old Aberdeen folk club and mentioned Graeme Allen. Was that the (Late and sadly lamented)Graeme Allen who worked for BT (Well ok the union) A great old friend of mine and my missus Kate.Hope so. Cheers guys,John.
