Can any fellow forumites recommend a good sprayhood maker in these parts for my Corribee? (Whole thing not just the cover).
East coast between Aberdeen or Edinburgh would be best so that I can take the boat to them or they can travel to measure up but happy to trailer across if west is best.
Thanks.

I had a new sprayhood, sail cover & dodgers made here -

http://www.storrarmarine.co.uk/

Sailed Rowana down from Peterhead to St Peters marina on the Tyne. Storrar have a special offer in that you get a week's berthing for £30 as long as Storrar are doing some work on your boat.

I went Peterhead - Stonehaven - Arbroath - Eyemouth - The Tyne. On the way back it was Tyne - Blyth - Amble - Eyemouth - Arbroath - Peterhead.

Here's a photo taken thes year with the new canvas work -

How long have you lived in Johnshaven?

Some of my Mum's family lived there, but they've been gone about 18-20 years now. I was born at St Cyrus myself.

Thanks for the info. I will give them a call as I could wheech the boat down on the trailer to them as it is out of the water for a winter refurb.
Hoping to get back in on time to attend the CC 2009 as Nick has graciously extended an invitaion.
Have been in Johnner for about 12 years, great wee place and the harbour is very handy.

Cheers

Give Rob Storrar a call, and by all means say you've been spaking to me. He's a nice guy, and very helpful.

Many a happy night I've had in the "Ship" over the years, but I haven't been down since the relations passed away. Not allowed to partake too freely these days anyway.
