Sorry, busy and a bit knackered, will try to do it tonight - it would help if someone could send me a truly stunning picture to use, as I am fed up with trawling through our own archives.

Min size 1680 x 1050 with a plainish area of sea or sky in one of the four corners for the calendar . . . if you have anything suitable post a small one here and I'll get in touch.

Otherwise, will trawl again this evening.

Here is a nice one taken from the breakwater at Holy loch on the 4th oct of sunrise over Greenock

Anyone care to explain the white streaks in the sky, one to the left side and one to the right side?
They are not caused by my camera, but a friend was explaining about some kind of matter which has been discovered recently which causes such marks, they dont know yet if it can pass through solid matter or if it is solid matter itself.
Not sure what it is called.
But definatly not planes.

I think that you scratched the print when you were swishing it about in the tray.

Nice pic BTW

No boat, but I always liked this. Taken at Scourie a few years back.

Get yourself a free photobucket account and upload the pic there. There is a box below the thumbnail on PB labelled IMG code, click on this and PB will copy the neccessary string to your clipboard ready for you to paste directly into your post. If you've got it right the pic will show in the post preview.

Many thanks

Try to keep picture width below 700 pixels to avoid disrupting the forum page and making everyone scroll furiously from side to side. PB provides an option to resize on upload to 640x480.

If you've got a huge, quality pic you want to show off you can make a smaller pic clickable to open a new page with the full size version like this:
