Fox terrier 22

A friend is thinking about buying a fox terrier 22. Anyone on the forum have experience of these boats?

I raced for several years on one - super wee boat. Reasonably quick, likes to be kept on its feet, quicker than a Sonata down wind, not so upwind. Reasonable accomodation for the size of boat - the owner of the one I raced converted the saloon so that it would make a double bed. Fairly decent in a big sea as long as you remember that they are quite light. Some are home completed, so build quality may vary.

Probably important that your friend subscribes to Uffa's view that the only appropriate occasion for designing in weight is in a steam roller. The Hurley 22 is nearly 50% heavier.
