Does the west have more ghosties than the east, or does it just appear so cos us west coast types are more sensitive than these hard nosed east coasters?

Or is it a case of more spirits = more ghosties?

Dunno about East and West coast Scotland, but there is more ghosts in Yorkshire than Lancashire, and the only ghost I ever saw was in Lossiemouth.

Undoubtedly. Some time ago, whilst leaning on the bar of the Isles, i was told of a strange apparition that, from time to time, would appear in Cuan Sound. The story goes of a man and a woman on a boat high and dry on this rock. The boat was a rather nice grey colour but over the years has turned green due to the elements, algae etc and a back-firing ebespacher. Sometimes you can see the woman chasing a hoary auld goat with a large siller cup o'er his heid, beating him with a wooden stick. Then the tide turns and .. poof .. the apparition disappears.

ahm sure youse misunderstood the significance of the moon. a further tale is told of *mooning*; nithing tae dae wi ra moon but unnerstandable in ra circumstances if youse wus propping up ra same boozer bar?
Onyways here's ra tale ... at certain times orra year, mainly summer, an aparishun orra hoary auld goat wull appear wearing a pair orra red grundies and will be seen mooning and haeing a skirl oan a table richt in ra corner orra tigh nae troosers pub. the story goes that he wus the owner orra boat stuck oan ra cuan rock (michty me, this must be the same auld goat as in ra ither tale) whose wife kicked him aff the auld tub and telt him tae swim fer it. stripping tae his grundies aff he went but, raither than daeing as he wuz telt and fetch ra lifeboat, he swam tae ra boozer.

"but there is more ghosts in Yorkshire than Lancashire"
Of course, thats what one would expect - I mean, what self respecting, intelligent ghost would stay in Lancashire if it had the wit and ability to go to Yorkshire.

A Lancashire lad awoke to find a ghost standing by his bed, the ghost said in a spooky voice"thurs only me an thee" and the Lancashire lad replied " Aye an when I get mi clogs on thur'll only bi thee"

Well I've heard terrible screechings on the pontoon in Tobermory and the rattling of chains in Pulldoab...Pulldhor...Oban. But soon after this ghostly pic was taken off the west coast of Ireland

Parahandy won his first game of Pool. Spooky!

There may appear to be a lot of yellow balls on the table but he sank the lot then climbed the mast and mended the radar...

Ermm.. I think you'll find that Para won his first frame just before that snap was taken off the west coast of Ireland, in fact.
