Whit time is it?

'Cos I've been reading the small print, I've noticed the wee statement in the bottom corner that reads 'All times are GMT'.
Now, I fell to wondering about this, as most - no, all - of the backbone servers I know about use a form of UTC via the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_Time_Protocol, and I suspect that what's used here is no different. Unless that eccentric wee laird Nick hisnae put a shilling in the meter recently, and still uses a grandfather clock in the hall, and the BBC Home Service......
