The webmaster himself is running a course out of sunny Barra this week and is really looking forward to the continuing sunny weather.

Not quite so bad on this side of the country . . .


Cape Wrath to Rattray Head including Orkney

Wind - Westerly 3 or 4 backing southerly 4 or 5, occasionally 6 in northwest.
Weather - Showers then rain.
Visibility - Good, becoming moderate or poor in north.
Sea State - Slight or moderate, occasionally rough later in north.

Outlook for the following 24 hours:

Wind - Southerly 4 or 5, occasionally 6 at first, decreasing 3 later.
Weather - Rain then showers.
Visibility - Mainly good, but moderate or poor at first in north.
Sea State - Slight in south, moderate or rough in north.



Rattray Head to Berwick on Tweed


Wind - Northwest 3 or 4 backing south 4 or 5.
Weather - Showers, with rain later.
Visibility - Mainly good.
Sea State - Slight, occasionally moderate at first.
