TOP to this place.

If we could get to about 10% I would be perfectly happy . . .

Agree with Bilbo on that - far better to have what we have than all the drivel and cack there

Of course

I quite agree of course - a much better class of drivel and cack altogether on here . . . but I am sure we could entice a few more members while maintaining standards. If/when I get finished with the current code and content review then I might look at a wee advert in one of the comics. A bit more income would allow more investment in the site - in lavish prizes and BM burgees for example.

I would have thought we have probably already reached critical mass for burgees?

(I thought there was a wee smiley waving a flag, but I can't find it...)

I've taken the plunge and just registered so it should now be one nearer your target.

I've been lurking for a while picking up info for a round Skye trip which starts on Sunday.

So thanks for all the interesting stuff and I'll try to contribute more often

Cheers
Steve

Have a little scan thro' the YBW "User" list. Many have never posted, lots have under 10 posts to their name. So peeps register but don't take part. Where's the benefit of that?

I have no objection to lurkers. It is an essential early stage of membership. One has to understand the ethos & accepted standards. But it must lead on to active participation if members are to add any value.

The proportions are probably only slightly better here with only 10% of members having made more than 25 posts.

A much better class of post it has to be said. :fingerscrossed:

That would be 'First Class Post', then?
