Does this react with the trilux we have just painted the stripe with?

We must get it done in the next couple of days - weather, hopefully, permitting.

Hi

I don't know for sure, but I would be a bit wary, especially if the Trilux is fresh.

When I've used Oxalic Acid Powder on the foredeck, I've found that the run off causes streaks on the topsides and eroding antifoul.

You don't want to hear this, but I think that I would have done the Y10 treatment before the antifouling/boot top.

Try a bit on the transom first. The worst would be that you need to tape on plastic sheet to protect the underwater part of the hull.

You near to launch?

We've been afloat all winter, yet still haven't sailed yet. We took the bunk cushions, etc up on Easter Monday. We went up late last Saturday, slept aboard, and put the engine into service on Sunday. Burped the Volvo stern seal - no air at all - and used a bank coin bag to get some Volvo grease into it. Beta started first turn. Strong N gusts meant that it would have been difficult to turn in the marina, so with rusty boat handling skills we decided to leave it to a better day.

Took the good advice of Ash and tested on the transom. All was well, so proceeded to work over the whole hull and must report there were no ill effects to the waterline paint or the antifoul. Maybe I was just lucky.
