We'll be arriving on Thursday afternoon, and it would be nice to have a pint or two in the evening. Anyone aroon?

I'm prolly collecting ljs from Embra airport at 4ish so would hope to be there by 6.30 or so. We'll give you a call as we approach and you can get them in.

Think i might be getting north thurs and I have to pick up the boat friday 3pmish somewhere near obanm but won't be there thurs pm, more like fri pm

We'll try not to go anywhere on the Friday where you can't catch up if you put the hammer down, as is your wont I understand.

The good Doctor and I will be making sure that our work commitments are done by late morning - add 5 hrs to that for journey time - perhaps arrive 18:00.
Happy to catch the ferry to craignure and then bus to Tobers if that is where you are planning to go.
A gale would naturally bollox such detail so we'll just have to see how it is all shaping up nearer the time?

Is there anywhere to moor up in Oban, wondered about that as a brief sail on the Thursday?

There are moorings at the south end of Oban bay Jim - by the sailing club. There's normally some free. If you were to go to Kerrera there is a water taxi but I'm not sure what time it finishes at night - it used to be too early, around 9 ish I think but I heard they'd extended the hours.

If you're just thinking about a quick stop Jim you should also find an empty one on the other side of the bay, by the Corran ledge, at this time of the year.

There may only have been two boats, two crew and two short days sailed due to broken boats and severe weather but it was still the CC 2007.
