Procedure is self explanatory

Are you talking vertically 10m or trailed out behind 10m?

Do you want to eat bottom feeders, or stuff closer to the surface?

Round here, if you laid out a 50m trail of grenades, it would get all the bottom feeders for 48m behind you.

If the solution were to include flares which are past their expiry date, then we could kill two birds (or fishes) with one stone.

And maybe anchors which score badly in magazine tests.

So - tape all the old flares together with gaffer (tank) tape - extend the trigger string of the middle one by 10 M. Old mooring buoy - string to the required depth - flares - another piece of string to the anchor. Tie the actuating string to the the stern and toss the rest overboard.

Bend over...........

........and his your ass goodby.

I used to have two of the dodgy whites, but they accidentally fell overboard about 8 miles east of the Pentland Skerries... :)
