Carrying Full 5 Gallon Containers up Ladders

Best to do this on Aluminium ladders as when the wooden ones rot it is rather frightening as you plunge feet-first earthwards, trying not to spill the diesel.

You also feel really silly.

Assume it was dark as well. Where did the deisel come from.....Bet Dan Archer's tractor doesn't start on sunday.

carrying heavy objects up ladders

This is a no no. If you have something heavy to get on the boat by going up any ladder better to tie a rope to it go up the ladder taking the other end of the rope and then pull the item up. If its realy heavy use a 6-1 attached to the boom we do it all the time and also use the 6-1 for going up the mast simple safe and NO strain
