Do you remember "New Marina by Dunstaffnage"?

Well there's another Pre application consultation for something very similar in the same place, 0.5 mile east of Dunstaffnage. In outline, it comprises: "Marina; boatyard including ancillary offices (Class 4) and store (Class 6); leisure resort including buildings for offices (Class 4), leisure use, gym, and spa (Class 11), retail (Class 1A), restaurants and cafes (Class 3), and related uses; holiday lodges (sui generis); and other holiday accommodation types (sui generis); new parking areas, roads, walkways, and cycleways; drainage and other infrastructure; and landscaping and biodiversity enhancement."
It's not clear what happened to the last effort. I heard that the last applicant owned Flamingo charters at Largs but it went bust soon after that proposal was put forward.
Anyone interested and in the area, there will be two public presentations on 28 August and 11 September (ominous date!) from 4pm to 8pm in Connel Village Hall, PA37 1PA.
