Is there room for another refugee?

I have decided that I am getting a bit fed up of "another place", and have been using it less and less of late.
I haven't resigned (yet), but I was wondering if there was room for an East Coast refugee hereabouts?
Cheers
Jim
Of course there is

.
Welcome aboard Jim.
The pace of life is a little slower here, and quite honestly we are not seeking to take on YBW's mantle - in fact most people on here also post on Scuttlebutt. Now you have a choice
It is nice to see the place starting to get a bit busier though - it has been going for eight years now, with a hiccup five and a half years ago.
Who knows, another eight years and perhaps Land Rover will be paying me a fortune to put annoying pop-up ads on here . . .

Well, one is East coast of England, and the other is East coast of Scotland, so that's OK
Isn't it?

Please don't start getting longitudinalist. You'll be asking for an East Coast forum next

Now there's a thought
However , I don't suppose that now would be a good time to mention that my nationality is Welsh , would it ?
Surrounded by Scottish and English , living on the East coast , and then both teams get totally stuffed by Wales in the rugby

ah ha

So this is the "other place" oft referred to over in the "other place". What's the gig guys? Is it better here - less flammable for example? Does the forum software work better? Is this the gentlemen's club or the speakeasy?

It's a tad quieter & more relaxed, you may miss the excitement tho'
Why not try something a little controversial & see what happens?

I'll claim the East Coast of the Calder and Hebble Navigation, TVM.

won't miss the "light blue touch paper and retire" nature of some forumites
would miss the wit and banter
guess I'm just going to have to be a tart and frequent both establishments!
