Over 1000 posts now and not a single toy thrown out of the pram.
Ahem!
I'd like to take the opportunity, on this auspicious occasion, to thank Mr Nicodemus Bowlegged for having the foresight to set up
Not another yachting forum . . . nearly four years ago, the perseverance to keep it going through all the
lonely times and the wisdom to pay for it entirely out of his own pocket.
More power to your elbow Nick!

Not even if he appends your blog to the front of his organ, rest assured.

Not sure - melting butter came into it but I couldn't understand why he wouldn't just leave it in front of the fire like the rest of us.

I see I missed the 2000th post while I was away. The second 1000 were a helluva lot quicker than the first. Roll on 10,000.

Does TAASC give you the power to do a count back - to see who posted number 2000 - a prize and picture in local paper - just like the supermarkets - or will we need to wait for 10,000?

No - though anyone could count back if they had the patience.
I suspect it was either you or LBB on one of the Namibian ladies' threads.
