Kilopost - and it's Blatant Advertising

Warning - blatant advertising . . .

:office I spent quite a bit of time and money with a lead generating service in November and December and passed many happy days on the 'phone or preparing detailed tenders, with some success. However, a review of new clients over the last quarter of 2007 shows that 50% were walk-ins through word of mouth or search engine enquiries. These latter cost us nothing and came with a positive attitude, wheras the time and expenditure on the generated leads turns out to represent an unacceptable percentage of the final invoice.

So - we are actively seeking - in particular - new clients requiring sailing-related sites, because this is what we most enjoy doing - but we also have great success with holiday property sites and have in fact created websites for almost every sector of industry over the last twelve years.

When I say 'do best' I don't necessarily mean the swishest design or the latest web technologies - I am talking in terms of return on your investment. This means an effective standards-compliant site which brings in traffic and is found easily using relevant search terms. That is what we do best - better, in fact, than most expensive 'search engine optimisation' services. If your website doesn't pay for itself in six months then it was a waste of money.

Most of our clients can realistically expect to be on p1 of Google for their chosen search terms within three months of the site going live.

Nothing else is as important as this for the majority of businesses.

Take a look at the Image results below for both this site and a couple of our clients' sites:

rya courses scotland:
BlueMoment - no.1 & 2
Westbound Adventures (our client) nos. 3 & 4
GaelSail (our client) no. 5

yacht charter scotland:
BlueMoment - no.1

yacht charter abroad:
BlueMoment - nos.1 & 2

yacht charter ireland:
BlueMoment - no. 2

yacht charter solent:
BlueMoment - no. 5

And of course there are dozens more examples we can give - just ask. We can of course also take existing sites that aren't working too well and give you a free appraisal with suggestions for improvement. So - if you know someone who needs a site for a new business or who has an existing site that could do with a makeover or a search engine boost then why not point them towards Webcraft UK Ltd?

Another case of don't do as I do, do as I say.

Congratulations on making the 1000 - at last. I see you haven't assumed the title though.

Au contraire mon Admiral . . .

Feel free to post as many Meatball Utility Kitchen advertisements as takes yer fancy! I never said nuffin' , but then this place doesn't attract yer average megayacht business tycoon dragons-den-botherer type the way TOP does!

No intention of posting any adverts but we're having a "Friends and Family" event in February (to mark our 20th year in the UK IIRC) when I will have a limited number of 25% off vouchers to hand out.

No limits to spending so furnish an entire house, install a new kitchen or buy a Lack coffee table with 4 good legs.

Form an orderly queue here...

Being added to any list that may come into existance. As in autographs - not for me, you understand, but the fruits of my loins, and their loins thrive on and in your products.

25%?

Post should have read:
blatant advertising - for Ikea
What's so great about a desk that sounds as though it was found in a whale's stomach anyway?

IKEA's Jonah Desk?

On checking, I find it is in fact the Galant that I got. (My memory for names is notoriously bad. In fairness, when I went in (my first ever visit to Ike@, incidentally) I had another one in mind, which might well have been the Jonas...)

Anyway, after spending the morning at it, and reassembling the odd bit I got wrong (having an engineering degree is no substitute for paying close attention to the destructions!), I am now the proud possessor of a muckle clear shiny desk which I am about to cover with lots and lots of rubbish / important paperwork as seen by SWMBO & me respectively!
