oar / oars required

An exceptionally high tide took one of our ancient wooden dingy oars last Winter.

The boatyard has now said I can access the dinghy again to get out to Avy-J, so I am looking for either a single oar that will match the missing one or a pair of oars.

All suggestions except the fatuous welcome.

I think there's 1 or 2 aluminium/plastic standard inflatable oars in the loft. Do you want me to check?

Why were your dinghy oars so dirty?

No, it's OK Derek, but thanks.

Not convinced flatey oars would be up to the job.

I have 4 oars and one dinghy.

Admittedly two of the oars came with the dinghy.

How long an oar are you looking for? I could go out and measure them but it's dark and I have had a few.

The other problem is they are in Yorkshire and I probably won't be able to get up there before you are allowed to go sailing.

I have a pair of 6 ft Dinghy Oars. Part of the blade on one needs re-glueing.

I'm at Melfort

Have just taken a photo of them but can't seem to post it.

Thanks everyone, I got a pair of oars today - they are a little short, but I think they will do for now.
