Of course they do! I have 2 of the crap devices that overheated their motors, distorted the casings and have no bump stop rubbers left on the rams.

It’s just not getting enough use to justify keeping her currently. Probably complete the engine work, launch, sail a bit just to be certain then selll.

Why is it that a 1970s house has 40-odd years of really crap DIY done to it that I have to fix before I can actually do any improvements. Why don't these eejits just leave things alone? Is a 1970s boat the same?
