Are you going to find deals on garden furniture and shoe cleaning products?

I’m trying to work in the logistics of going to Boot in late January...that is a PROPER boat show.

Well worth the effort as it is massive and has all manner of water toys on display, make the London show look really feeble.

Take at least 2 days if you go.

London, £20 each way on the train (older person), family to stay with in the Smoke, free entrance to show (RYA member)

Easy

Did it last year and that'll last me for more than quite a while. You do know your bus pass doesn't work down there?

2 LIBS tickets arrived here last week in a plain white envelope with no explaination as to their origins and I didn’t ask anyone for them..

Now, if they also send return sleeper tickets I might think about it...

I much prefer Southampton and Cowes week, not a fan of the London one.

Good!

Travelling from here it makes no sense to go to London for a crappy garden furniture show with some boats in one exhibition hall when for around the same cost and travel hassle you can go to a proper ‘Boot’show with 17 halls stuffed with boatie every thing....and better food.

Oh, and better beer.

Ah, almost forgot about the cocktail bar in the surf halle
