Hello everyone.
Does anyone know of a tidy, Westerly Centaur or Griffon for sale in Scotland?

Thanks in advance.

Alistair.

I was told there was one at port bannatyne quite cheap, when I was looking. And there was definitely one at ardrishaig, on the hard. The sailing cub there would put you in touch with the guy.

Yep, as Steve says there is a Centaur in the Club yard here, the 'For Sale' sign taped to the transom mentions a figure starting with a 3 but I did not pay attention to the other digits, it has been ashore about 3 or 4 years now, it had lost its mast but the owner sourced a second hand replacement, last year he had a tent built round it but I was not curious enough to find out what he was doing. Looked quite tidy but I have not been inside.
If still of interest I can find out what the exact asking price is and put the owner in touch with you.

Thanks, I’m hoping to find one that is ready to sail and needs minimal work, I know old boats will need work, but something that’s ready to sail, while we tidy it.

I will make enquiries about the one is Ardrisaig, I think I’ve seen the one in Port Bannatyne.

Thanks,
Al.

I believe that Chiron, my old Centaur, may be available moored in Tarbert.

She hasn't been used much in the year since I sold her and looks pretty unloved from outside but that's no big deal.

Probably not marketed yet but the owner has moved away to a new venture.
