Now Berthed At Craobh Marina

After many false starts I managed to get the boat to Craobh Marina. Almost did not make it (again) as my crew was rushed to hospital with chest pains which turned out to be torn muscles from washing his hair bent over the bath. I decided to move her myself but a huge thanks to Joe who helped me through the canal and collected me from Craobh and dropped me off at my car at Cairnbaan; a real gent, helpful and friendly. I just motored from the basin to Craobh but it was great to back on the sea again.
The rewiring has still to be completed and hopefully that will be done in the next 2 weeks, then it's varnishing and all the minor finishing jobs. The point of this post, if you are over at Craobh I am on Berth A38, please drop in for a cup of tea or something stronger if you wish. I'll fly the forum pendant when in the marina. My Rival is called Sruth, Gaelic for stream / flow, a play on the origin of the word Rival - to share a stream.
All the best,
Alastair
