Still at least it wouldn't have been cold. I'm sure warm, wet and seasick isn't half as bad as cold, wet & seasick. When I spoke to Tim on Sunday he told me that he'd never been as cold in his life as on Silkie's mad motor-sail to Dunstaffnage.
You just can't get the crew these days.
Thanks for the calendar.

You blue-water sailors..
Yes I do like the the calendar pic - thought that was obvious. Did you under-expose it for dramatic effect?
PS - Can I put up a picture of Fairwinds on the
Pics of your boat thread?

This might possibly be not entirely unrelated to one of the reasons why it is sometimes a bit quiet here.

I think you are confusing the Wind Acceleration Zone (WAZ) with the Visits Post Ratio (VPR)
Royal Mail carried out a survey recently which was related to Repetitive Strain Injury (RPS) amongst Posties. They found interesting correlations between the frequency of visits (to addresses) and the amount of post they were having to carry. Cutting through the masses of calculations, I think I can accurately summarize that the findings were inconclusive, although calculations based on postcodes that receive high percentages of 'junk' mail suggest that the more frequently posties visit addresses carrying lots of (junk) mail, the greater probability that they will suffer from RPS. This affects their wrists quite a lot as they use their wrists frequently in the selection and sorting of mail from their bags. Ongoing research has been commissioned which it is hoped will tease out any links between wrist related RPS and decreased sexual activity.
The British Canoe Union carried out similar research some years ago which I think concluded that the majority of canoests are not wankers.....

Nice to see you up and about again. The new medication seems to be a big improvement.

My VPR is probably poorest of all since I "visit" a couple of dozen times most days.
I see that I have been registered for 732 days and that this will be my 726th post which makes my PPD number almost 1. Must try harder.
