As in other years, mine are being attacked by wasps.

Hmm - if you squeeze your plums each day I think you can beat the wasps.....

I thought that I may spray my plums, but my wife thinks that it's just too windy down there.

They're fairly well concealed and protected, after all nobody wants people scrumping their plums, but I must admit that on occasion I do throw caution to the wind and give them an airing.

My son has lovely tasty plums this year, but a lot of damage when they hit the ground.

As well as fruit cobblers I think it's going to be a great year for sloes for sloe gin - I've just got half a bagful without trying
