It's getting towards that time of year again - Doric again?

What? No takers? For the newcomers, before Covid got in the way those denizens of these fora who were somewhere near Ed'burg met in a pub to tell tall tales and take the piss out of the (b)ankers who had just been awarded boni. But of course, if you are all anti-social tossers bemoaning the departure of your pin-up girl, Suella ......

Hows about a few cans of wife-beater in the Grassmarket then? (Other brands of reconstituted piss are available)

I think I'm still banned from there. In the days long before my sensitivity training I foolishly suggested that the young(?) lady gyrating should put her clothes back on to hide the stretch marks. Now, of course, I would realise that was "body shaming" and the words would never have crossed my mind.

Two flies land on a hairy twat. One’s a drug addict, the other is a robber. How do you tell them apart?

The robber is hiding in the bush and the addict is sniffing crack.

I’ll get my coat …

Is it my excrement joke or the chronic malaise affecting BlueMoment that has resulted in a dearth of drinks RSVPs?

I can’t see it lasting into the summer. There has to be an overhead running BM.

Sorry, not been on for a week or two.

Very happy to meet for a convivial pint. Anywhere with easy access from train does me. Did I see the Doric suggested again? It was going through a half week opening phase a few months ago, but hopefully it's now back to normal. I'll be in Edinburgh both tomorrow and Friday, so I could make enquiries then.

Is there a drinks date and location this year? I have been cast adrift this month by my employer, no more travelling until January, hence potentially available for sailing bullshit and beer.

Good grief this thread has been going since 2011

I will be in Dumbarton on the 9th (this Saturday) and subsequently in Oban.
