My experiences of Denmark are limited . . . A Sunday flight from Copenhagen to some misbegotten heliport on the E. coast prior to spending a few days in a Stressless recliner watching movies on a Maersk jack-up, and a day and half a night drinking in some yachting harbour beginning with 'A' up near the top end prior to a chaotic three in the morning departure with an incapacitated skipper to brave a gale- stirred Skaggerak.

My suggestion - forgo the fasting for now and enjoy the pastries.
Misbegotten heliport is Esbjerg, it's on the west coast of Denmark...who was navigating through the Skaggerak?m

Me. Had to buy charts out of my own pocket.

Crappy 22 hour passage hard on the wind (F5 for most of it) with a sea left over from a gale with a baggy roller-reefed main, leach motoring like a mad thing, worst hangover in the world , the skipper refusing to get out of his bunk, cabin boy having difficulty either helming or making tea . . .

My test-sail of a Vega in fact. Varberg - Skagen - Lillesand - Kristiansand - Peterhead.

It is Tuesday. After a few hours yesterday that remained dry between showers, it is now raining.

Ah great, thank you. Some British rain at last, getting fed up with all this Danish cack.
