A bit like that other place. It's much better now that there is a choice of skins which helps with delineation of the posts and threads.

Getting back off topic. Is the Claymore's Claymore, Claymore, that is based along from my boat, Claymore's Claymore, Claymore, or is it another Claymore that is clearly not the Claymore's Claymore that is for sale. Ardfern doesn't have a railway near it that I have noticed.

Claymore's Claymore is in the village of the winter hash-smokers. (just gossip mind....)
The Largs Claymore is Gordon's. (try the sailing club)
http://trooncruisingclub.org/ 20' - 30' Berths available, Clyde.
Cruising, racing, maintenance facilities. Go take a look, you know you want to.

Oh OK - assumption - the usual root cause of all my past troubles and probable future ones too. What an unusual village population! I once left a corned beef hash in a pot for many months until it had long passed the putrefaction stage and dried out to quite a hard lump. I could never imagine breaking it up and smoking it though. Is it a traditional thing, to pass away the winter months, I imagine they would have plenty of time on their hands with the long nights and what not? Then again, the short growing season assumes that food would be in short supply and so not likely to be dried for smoking.

I must confess to spreading rumours. It may purely be a case of a negligent boy-scout and an over-large fire.
However the fact remains that Mr Claymore of that ilk has dumped his howf there.
