Happy 2012.
I wonder if it's going to be a windy one???
Spent a happy afternoon with a measure tape and notebook ( old fashioned type) sorting out a shopping list for the boat show...
Can't wait to get sailing again.

Happy new year to you all, hope its a prosperous one.
As usual a bit late with this, but just back from spending the bells in Millport, visiting friends houses, eating their food and drinking some of their fine spirits.
Sadly my dear heart could not join me as the engine in her 3yr old car seized on fri morning after its oil filter loosened and dumped all its oil
2011 hasent been the best for us!

looks like it's concentrating on the Clyde according to the GRIB...
A wee lull on Thursday maybe, then back to the keech for the weekend.
One problem of a bedroom with a view is that you don't get any sleep in weather like this.

The whirly wind thingy at the top of my hill got up to 102mph this morning! Forth Bridge closed to all traffic for the 3rd time in 7 months - told them the new yin should have been a tunnel.
Had a nice wee sail to Granton and back yesterday - a skite there and reefs and storm jib on the way back.
Happy and prosperous new year to you all.

It still feels pretty bad here. We are dreading the call from the Lake Wardens on Windermere. At least Seminole has good people keeping an eye on here in sheltered Tarbert.
Nick - shouldn't these snowflakes be going horizontally for authenticity?
