....but you get cheese-shaped dirty marks left when you lift the the ropes
As for the prog - haven't seen it and can't watch it online as it doesn't seem to buffer/preload, but I bet the boat is something else. Agree with the possible Italian origin. looks functional outside, bet it's sexy inside.

"Cheesing" does harm your lines - the UV degradation increases and is one sided which does no good at all, a scientific friend once told me.

I do that with our sheets.. though only when we are tied up. It allows you to stand on them, put bags down etc. etc.
It isn't cheesy, I think it makes sense personally.

I was trying a little bit of humour - I understand that coiling a rope in that manner is called cheesing.
But then again, perhaps I'm wrong. I'm
ALWAYS wrong as far as SWMBO is concerned

I have never heard it called cheesing before, I don't keep up with all these new fangled names for stuff on boats.
I was not in any way taking offence and apologise for not picking up on your pun, made me look stuoopid that did

. Anyways, it is no wonder the aul' farts don't like it, it's different see, they don't do different!
Just been reading TOP Dan Snow thread, it is alike a mutual masturbation now, who can be the most depressing miserable old tw@at. I honestly think they are ill and I am not being jovial about that.

I thought it was called 'mousing'.
Still one ugly boat though!
Mousing? Cheesing?

What's the point of having a working deck that looks neater than you do?
Or I do, in Shard's case.

Delighted to be elevated to "old fart". Thanks, I feel at home now.

Never mind "old fart" I reckon it's only a few weeks until you hoist your broad pennant, or is that a commodore rather than an admiral?
