Just leave me and my 11 fingers out of this. OK so ran Malwarebytes thingy in full mode and it came back not finding a thing. Am I ok then?

You guys will be fine. The first frosts will kill off all the nasties, and you'll be getting them ahead of us Southerners.

He eventually got round to spending time on fixing the problem. He found advice to try Hitman Pro 3.5 which seemed to do the trick. I think that he will uninstall before his 30 days free use is up.
