Fancy that.
I often think about my old Matchless G12. It had the worst designed head cooling fins ever conceived wot wouldn't let you get a decent socket on the head bolts. The socket had to be ground down to reach the bolts through the fins... which mean it was nigh on impossible to torque the head down properly.
The third time it blew a head gasket I pushed the thing into a hedge and walked away.
If anyone found a black matchie 650 in a hawthorn on the Skegness to Boston road in about 1971 - its mine.

But as to the Brough picture it is in south west Ireland in an area i look foward to cruising especialy as on the day there is a fishing race using any methods normaly using a boat . For intrest it is a 1927 SS100 spent two weeks touring around on it a loverly time was had and the picture was taken at the end!!! Hence the "hate" bit as we both suffer still from rrse ache

Top pics FC! Mine's standard, not even a can. I like to think I make up for lack of BHP with sheer talent and bravery. :-)

Quality camping set up. Fraid I'm a total pussy who takes needless luxuries like tents with with me!

Thanks for drawing attention to the SS100. I hadn't followed the link before. I half expect TE Lawrence to walk into the shot.
