My initial thought was Newton Mearns, Glasgow - that seems a long treck but a bit more concentration came up with Howe o' the Mearns which seemed more logical.

Actually, I always wondered about the age - you didn't 'sound' 34 in your posts - and now when I look at the Blog profile, it's obvious that it refers to the boat - so a boat that only sails well, but can type too! clever stuff.
