You can tell you're an eastcoaster.
What's your bid then?
All I'm saying is this - These are 2 different items, which should not be confused.

Just keep the Leatherman Kick lest someone receives less than good value for their charitable donation or H&S issues are compromised.
I'll go now and pop a few quid in Pete's pot and let that be an end to it.
I'll remember to be more considerate with my silly charitable gestures in future!
Not your problem, John. Your charitable donations are always welcome. All I was trying to do was point out that the Wave & Kick are quite different things, and the final recipient may be disappointed. Seems all that I've managed to do is upset both Nick and yourself, which was definately not the intention. Sincere apologies to you both if I've ruffled your feathers.

Right.
Salty John has won the charity auction for his own tool and has posted £20 (plus gift aid).
He has instructed me to keep the tool as it is obviously too dangerous for him to risk getting it back in case he is arrested and thrown in the pokey . . .
John, thanks again for a very generous offer . . . sorry for any hassle.
I meanwhile have vowed yet again that I will never ever go into the Lounge and have to deal with cretins like Login_name (the name says it all really . . . )
One thing I would like to say - if anyone wants to raise money for worthy causes on this forum they are very much encouraged to do so. I will have no hesitation whatsoever in deleting any and all posts that in my opinion are irrelevant or in any way detract from the good intentions and efforts of the majority.
Finally, all the very best to Pete for his sail tomorrow and congratulations on raising over £600 for a very good cause.

Sorry to be a nitpicker - I'll probably get banned from the internet forever, but I am not actually setting off until Saturday morning. If all goes according to plan I will leave Kip at about 05:00.
