Well you may aspire to it.
Personally I have grave doubts.
I think persuading SWMBO to go aloft and lay out on the topsail yard would be beyond me.
Even the suggestion would be fraught with danger
April calendar
shouldn't need to. That is maltese falcon, and each of the sails can be unfurled/furled from a little puter screen. So (in theory) all very lovely and no pesky crew to spoil it.Olivepage wrote:Well you may aspire to it.

Nice looking boat
Not quite as pretty as a Hurley 22 but not too terrible, all the same.

Where is it? It looks familiar but wrong. The little chain/rope on top of the posts is unusual. It could be Brockholes but I only ever went once.
Ash, I think it's Windermere, in the North Lake looking towards Troutbeck, or Fairfield.

Edit - Silkie - Trying to PM you but no success - would you please put your TAASC hat on, and delete my post above.

Salty John
I would hope that he would say something. No PM's, vitriolic or otherwise.Silkie wrote:Well OK but I'm sure Salty would have said if he'd been upset - or have you had a vitriolic PM?
He has emptied his album which means that any links he has made will be broken - see his offer for the calendar for example.
Maybe this can be a learning curve for all peeps. I'm no expert, but the access to PB can be set up in various ways
Public access to view and obtain links
Public access to view only
Access to view 1 photo only by providing a link
The album that I use for various fora is public, but I now wish that I had set it up differently. Some images on it are rubbish if viewed out of context with the origional post. I believe that I will break existing links if I change the security setting. Maybe I should start another one, I certainly started a different one for my engine change pix.
Sorry for the thread drift - keep posting those pix.
Ash
