It's effectively another internet subscription (unfortunately). I still work, albeit part-time, which usually entails about two visits a month to London, with lots of time spent in hotels, trains, and/or airport lounges. The dongle plugs into the USB connection. I use T-Mobile - it was not my first choice (O2 would have been, but didn't have the product at the time), but available at the right time, and pretty good to date. I can get 3G access in towns and cities, GPRS most other places, including the mooring at Appin, but obviously not in empty glens or remote anchorages.
