Seminole has a 110AHr lead acid starter battery which looks after it's self.
The windlass LA battery up front is only a year old but similarly I don't worry about it.
The 3x110AHr domestic bank take more care.
The alternator feeds all three banks through a Victron 3 output FET splitter.
The 80 amp alternator never bangs out more than 25 amps, only the domestic bank has a monitor but "the alternator man" said it will do 80 amps on the bench.
We have 200W solar through a Victron MPPT controller which I haven't seen more than 5 AMPs delivering, just feeding the domestic bank, it gets the most hammer.
The original Ctek M200 (15A) charger was too small for the third domestic battery so it now only feeds the engine battery but it doesn't do much when hooked up.
The replacement Ctec M25 (25 amp) charger sometimes bangs 20 amps into the domestic bank when hooked up, but not for long.
Recently when it was cold and we were running the Wallas quite a lot, the fridge 24/7, the TV in the evenings and the CPAP machine ( not an option) via a puny inverter overnight the solar wasn't enough so we ran the engine for an hour in the morning. On a dull day for two hours in the morning, hopefully getting the alternator demand >10 amps.
The noisy genny is much more efficient at charging the batteries via the Cteck.

Changing to gel batteries is pointless.

2x100 Ahr LiPO4 may be the next upgrade but at £850 each (I would have 2) it's a big spend when 3 from Halfords only cost £270 total and the scrap man refunds £30.
