Would it happen to be an original Orkney long liner by any chance?Ocklepoint wrote:As you can see from the state of the boat I've still got a bit of snagging to do before she goes back in the water so I'm in no desperate rush for a new burgee.
If Nick has the patience and energy to continue with this then I'm happy to wait to get it right rather than rush into something not so good.
Good on you Nick
PS..........., where is it

I would have thought nuclier power, judging by that strange looking ball shaped hingy, perhaps a miniture version of Doonrae, unless of course it is an old mine picked up when they last used the boat, which would explain why the boat has been left in such state of disrepair since, as no one dare aproach it.Ocklepoint wrote:I'm not so certain of this fine vessel's provenence, she maybe an Orkney shark boat, certainly an MAB.
Still got a few little jobs to do on her engine, a petrol parafin job I think.
I wonder if you can still get spares for such a thing.

BTW sorry to be ignorant, but what is an? "MAB"
Any of you getting a snowy reception on your tellygoggle boxes.

Brilliant Nick.
