Holiday Weekend

Post by BarnacleBill »

I am about to head up to the boat for the weekend. Things to do are;
Rig the jib sheets, outside / inside the shrouds? Will try both to see what's best.
Get the outboard into the well, get it running. Might as well do the same with the tender's outboard.
Check the electrics
Clean the gunge off the hull
Then get it out to play.

I used to sometimes bring the sheets inside on my Leisure 17 to try to improve the beating angle but then I would need to derig if I was further off the wind so only brought them inside on a long beat.

That was on Loch Lomond so smaller waves.
