Hello Everyone
I've been researching the 17/19 footers and have done a posting about them on http://www.scottishboating.blogspot.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Any corrections and additional information would be most welcome, as there's very little out there. There seem to be three surviving boats, Fricka, Hatasoo and Katydid.
Also the convenor of the 19/24s is anxious to trace any of those that are still around. One possibility is Gertrude, perhaps laid up on a shore somewhere. Any sightings?
Bye for noo

Beautiful boats. I remember seeing Hatasoo on the telly recently in an STV documentary about the Fifes.
Loved this:
A yachting journalist from the deep South asked Ronnie McGrouther when he was going to restore Hatasoo and he replied "We gave her a new transom fifty years ago, what more do you think she needs?"
