I've finally got my long summer trip blog written up with pictures included!

I didn't know that there was a maximum size limit (though thinking about it, it's clearly necessary) but there again I've never had so many pics to include in a single entry!
Being a sensible sort of chap you do the write-up in a word processor first and then copy and paste it into the blog, don't you?
PS - Did I get the pissoir "Where is it?" wrong? I said Fara but re-reading this section now it seems to be on Cava.

Re pissoir: you were right based on my previous draft, but when I started putting the piccies in I found I had got it wrong. (A lot of these islands are remarkably similar, and I found the time stamping of the photies was a wonderful aid...)
Re the WP: well, yes I do, but then I tend to edit the blog version without updating the WP one so if part of the blog disappears I lose all my edits.

I'm thinking of writing up the Stronsay day as a piece for The Angry Corrie - provisional title "Mad Monks and Loonie Landrover Drivers"...
Not sure about making money out of writing, however, it's a very crowded market since "anyone can write". I had thought of more specialised things, although actually the current difficulty is finding the time for doing anything.
This is a real mystery. I reckon that, including commuting, work took up about 50 hours a week. I now get up each day maybe 2 hours later, so that accounts for 10 hours. But where did the other 40 go? All my pals who have retired say they don't know how they found the time to work, and I must say I used to just think of this as something of a "standard saying", but now I find myself agreeing. Very odd.

Well - perhaps you are just going along with whoever's theory that was about allowing the job to expand to fill the time available.
I could offer you some suggestions - get a fast car and revert to the previous getting up time. This is bound to create some time. Let me know how you get along and I'll come up with some more excellent suggestions.
