negative battery master switch

Ho, ho, been havin' fun fitting an inverter (1000w continous, 2000w peak, modified sine wave type, £99 from Towsure). As would seem obvious, connect positive to common oot on battery master switch and negative to earth, Hmmm, didnae seem tae work. Much fekkin aboot wi'a multimeter eventually reveals...

To say that I am envious of that scenery (and weather) would be slightly understating my feelings. The Solent seems a bit pale by comparison, but it's all I've got for now (sigh). At least I'll be out sailing tomorrow. Have a lovely weekend wherever you are, everybody.

Well, I have to say that I'm a real believer in ventilation.............although with a 135W tube heater allied to it, our Colvic seems to have stayed dry and smell free and slightly above freezing even in the lowest temps we have seen down our way in a long time. Of course, plugged into shore power...

Oh, it'll go alright, you probably won't need the chromed shovel; actually, take the shovel with you and hammer it into a CQR shape, 'cos it'll be the only thing that'll stop it! :D

Ho,ho, been there, done that! Actually my downfall (literally!) was a handlebar mounted mirror, I was so busy checking behind me that I ran into the back of a parked mini-cab. :oops:

I understand that Brie fullfills much the same function and has the added advantage that it tastes just the same before and after, a quality not shared by chocolate. I stand waiting to be corrected.
