Re: Dunstaffnage
La Mouette is quite content there , feeling the water passing by her at 2 knots as she sits admiring Cruachan . No doubt she is hostess to quelques mouettes .....

Re: Hazards approaching Dunstaffnage
Only trying to be helpful , Mr Pugh . Nobody will need the info now . FYI I was moving from the winter mooring at Ardfern to my own mooring for summer storage . No fun involved ( apart from the dolphins ) as the wind was always within 20 degrees of the bow . And it was last week ...... now back to r...

Hazards approaching Dunstaffnage
The Fish Farm off Ganavan has surrounded itself with 20 cm yellow buoys - ? Mussels. Having gone half a cable outside the limit defined by their yellow lit buoys , I saw a...

Re: Bulk Purchasing and Buying Power
Thanks for the photo of my chain with the faded yellow markings , Geoff. In my defence I did offer to put a label on but the helpful chap who unloaded it onto the pallet said he would label it ........ the shackles give it away . From what you say , best to take the shackles off to give me options ....

Re: Bulk Purchasing and Buying Power
I've retreived my 45m of 8mm chain from La Mouette at a peaceful Ardfern today . Would have been at Cumbernauld at 6 15 and would have found a shut gate , so will bring it on Friday morning for some zinc.

Pantaenius were happy to insure my boat on D10 at Dunstaffnage through the winter of 2012/13.
