A newbie is asking about Keyhaven on TOP.
It's astonishing how people over-dramatize things in their heads. For those Blue-momenters who don't know it, there's nothing dramatic or different about Keyhaven. It's quite nice by Solent standards mud, no rocks. Just an average place. No dangers or difficulties. To give an indication of how easy it is to get in people keep boats there and there's a Yacht Club. It's a perfectly normal creek.
I've known people who've sailed to Greenland and made less fuss about drifting ice than these guys are making about Keyhaven.
I have a sneaky suspicion that people are trying to discourage newbies from crowding their favourite quiet spot.
