I might be seeking a berth this year.
Could anyone cope with me as a passenger I wonder?

I'll not be offended if you choose one of these other sumptuous vessels

Looks like Adam is going offshore, so I will probably have a berth as well.

Re: Starting to look like
I'm afraid my offer of a berth is now withdrawn, since Avilion will no longer be participating. In keen anticipation of this prestigious (and rapidly becoming venerable) event I had entirely overlooked the fact that I had a wedding invitation for the Friday night. Apparently not turning up to this would be frowned upon...

And I'm afraid Fairwinds won't be there either, as I have the lurgy and have to concentrate on getting well for the following weekend, when I have a paid gig doing a skippered charter.

Falling like flies! And Ken doesn't do sailing to windward. Why don't you move it a bit later in the year after the gales?

Re: Starting to look like
We have been watching the forecast and wondering about weather a sprint to Oban on Friday is a good idea.
It would be good to be tied up and plugged in to run the fan heater for the blow going through Sat night but it would make more sense to go to a pub in the car and leave Chiron on it's mooring.

No1 son and I expect to be tied to a pontoon in Oban on Friday night. It'll be a good opportunity to try to fix one or two more broken things.
