WANTED BADLY.
The heat exchanger on my 45 years old Perkins 4.236M has corroded through. It was made in 1967 by Bowman in Birmingham and is labelled : DRG2486713. It is a combined oil and water heat exchanger that sits across on top of the thermostat at the front end of the motor.
If you can help in any way please write here on forum, or contact me at : boa@glaipnir.dk

Thanks a lot for the suggestions.

I contacted Bowman, and to my amazement they still have the old molds for the 45 years old heat exchanger body !
I have now ordered a new replacement and it should (hopefully) arrive in time to be installed at the start of the sailing season here.
Good old British conservatism does have its good sides.
