now, preparing the boat next week, I will start in the beginning of may from Cuxhaven to the eastcoast GB, maybe Sunderland, but it depend of the weather.

It is my first trip with a boat to the united kingdom, wiht a lefthand driving car, nearly 30 years ago

I thing, my nautical equipment, chartplotter, Imray Papercharts and Almanach 2011, Radar, AIS, VHF, weather receiver and a small experience with the english language will me take safe to my distination

If you will practise your german, look at my blog.

Welcome to the UK ! It looks like the wind will be favourable for heading North for the next few days.

Make sure you try an Arbroath "Smokie" - oak smoked Herring. A breakfast you will taste all day!

Last wednesday I used fair winds for the 100 NM trip from Arbroath to Whitehills. South easterly winds near force 6 Bf . I arrived Whitehills 01:30am. With a plotter is it very easy to find the habour in the night.
I have planty of time for 2 days rest before going to Losssiemouth and Inverness.

I have lost the lockblog from the Furlex S 200, part number 539-577. So I need this spare part. If anybody can help me, where I get it, please contact me

thanks

Mast and Rigging Supplies (http://www.mastandrigging.co.uk/) MRS deal with Furlex. They will probably pop the item in the post for you.

Mast and Rigging Services will do that, but they will be in Tarbert this weekend at the Scottish Series so service may be a little slower than normal.
The number to call is 07831 112 877 (+447831 112 877, ein handi nummer)
