Bonjour,

I am French, (sorry but bobody is perect), I looking forward to buy a "Veracity 34" motor-sailers.

I know about his seakeeping qualities, but I would like to have more informations on its sailing abilities for istance( near reach, abeam reach etc ....

Does any one know this kind of boats.

Thank You.

Hi Epsilon - afraid I haven't come across this boat, but thought I'd say hello anyway. Welcome.

Bonjour,

Thank you very much for your replies.

Veracity 35 is a kind of motorsailers, looks like a Nauticat 33, was designed by G.L.Watson on traditional Scottish fishing boat lines and build (1977) by Aberdour Marine.

I just thaught, that boat was well knowed in U.K.

Thank just the same.
Best regards.
Pierre.

I will ask the guy in charge of the yard where I keep my boat, as it is a commercial yard and he is into older boats he might know something.

Monsieur

Salutations

Shuggy

P.S. My French is truly sh*te, and I did write that without any outside help, so I thought it would be fun to try it in Babelfish with the following results:

Mister J' have damage, but it y' has a few years since last the time that j' had to speak French. If you had an interest of the boats shell with the ' traditional Scottish fishing boat lines' , j' have a Miller Fifer 33 very beautiful who s' call Tafna. J' have finds Vivacity here, and if c' is the boats C your dreams, would find you (?) that Tafna is even less expensive than this aborration of GRP (!). For GBP 30,000 (perhaps a garden pea less than Ca with negotiation with red wine) Tafna is yours. Greetings Shuggy

You're unlikely to hear from Epsilon since he hasn't visited since 30/05/09.
