That's a very generous offer, so thank you for that. There is however the matter of how the trauma may also be compensated for.......

Our participation in CC2008may be somewhat fleeting as we will not be able to be at our mooring before 1800 on Friday. As it's about, or just over, 30NM to Tobermory, if indeed Tobermory is the Friday destination, we'll stop somewhere on the way, like Loch Aline, Fishnish Bay, or Salen.
High water Oban is about 0500 BST on Saturday, so am hoping that we may be able catch up with a start at around 0800.

Of course I'm counting on Claymore insisting on the full Lorn sausage breakfast ashore.....

Oh, dear. Looks like I need to review the medical stores, to include the 12mm rubber hose, the liquid soap, the filler funnel and the Vaseline....

Oh, and the new Marigolds....

Last evening I issued telephonic instructions to my good friend the Hon. P Handy to arrest any progress I may be making towards the Hoose o ra Brekfuss, remind me of the progress I have made thus far in that I have shed 22lbs and remind me of my own observation that my willie is looking bigger - well, at least I can see more of it.

I think a burst of Pilates would be better for us all Donald.

All our lot seem ready. I tried to raise max (sailbadthesinner on another place) but no answer.

It will probly be best that para takes the role of Sailing Master, ahem. Claysie and Muzz are in charge of Navigation and Cocktail Parties. LJS of course retains his position as Head Cynic.

OOhhhhh goody in charge of navigation. There are so many tricky little waterchutes I've fancied having a crack at but never dared to in my own boat.

The Muz and I are leaving work at 11:00 he has informed me.

Uh uh... I can see that a slimmed down Claymore is going to cause me some suffering. Hungry days ahead...

Think the 22 lbs shed includes that big head torch he was sporting in Pulldoab... you know where I mean.
Think he could have used that to see his willie...

Something of a Midnight Flasher...?

Would anyone closer to the action care to brief me on the effects of 'The Strike' on fuel sources on the roads? I'll need to make some tactical decisions, by Tuesday night, on what reserves to carry.

Totally agree with Silkie - plenty of petrol in Oban with no silly queues.
